We hope by outlining our policies we make your experience with us as worry-free as possible!
WEDDING and SPECIAL OCCASION RESERVATIONS
- WEDDING PACKAGES- provides you with 1 hour use of an elegantly decorated white wedding
carriage, driver in black jacket and a "Just Married Sign". Specific carriages may be requested- requests are first come,
first served.
- SPECIAL OCCASION RESERVATIONS- provides you with a standard wedding carriage, and driver
in black jacket with 1 hour of use. Specific carriages may be requested- requests are first come, first served.
- PAYMENT- We require a deposit of 1/3 of the total price, $50.00 of which is a NON-REFUNDABLE
booking fee. The balance is due when the carriage arrives at your location. Gratuity for the driver is not included
and deeply appreciated.
- OVERTIME CHARGES- We are usually available to stay longer if needed- overtime charges are
$25.00 every 15 minutes and are due at time of service.
- CANCELLATIONS- if you must cancel your reservation, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required
for a refund of your deposit (minus the booking fee). If less than 4 hours notice is given, the
full amount will be charged.
- INCLEMENT WEATHER- All of our carriages are equipped with convertible tops to protect our
passengers if the need arises. However, in the case of severe weather conditions, you may cancel your service with a minimum
4 hour notice and receive a refund of your deposit (minus booking fee), or move your reservation to another date for no additional
charge.

ENGAGEMENT/ ANNIVERSARY RESERVATIONS AND ALL OTHER VEHICLES HIRED
- PAYMENT- Your payment will be held on a credit card. If cash or other payment is preferred
at the time of your ride, the amount held on your card will be voided. Gratuity for the driver is not included and deeply
appreciated.
- ADDITIONAL CHARGES- If your pickup location is not listed as a choice on the reservation
page, there may be an additional fee- please call us for details. Because we base our prices on round trip times, if you desire
to be dropped off somewhere other than your pickup location, the price remains the same, or there may be an extra charge to
extend your ride.
- CANCELLATIONS- There are no fees to move to another date or time (except Holidays) if 1
hour notice is given. If you must cancel, there is a $10.00 cancellation fee. If less than 1 hour notice is given, the full
amount will be charged.

AGREEMENT, RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
In consideration of the services of A Austin Texas Carriage, Die
Gelbe Rose Carriage & Associates of these carriage companies, their agents,
owners, officers, volunteers, participants, employees, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf
(hereinafter collectively referred to as "AATCC,DGRC & ASSOC"), I hereby agree to release, indemnify, and discharge AATCC,
DGRC, & ASSOC, on behalf of myself, my spouse, my children, my parents, my heirs, assigns, personal representative and
estate as follows:
1. I
acknowledge that horse drawn vehicle rides entails known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or emotional
injury, paralysis, death, or damage to myself, to property, or to third parties. I understand that such risks simply cannot
be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.
Furthermore, AATCC, DGRC, & ASSOC. employees have difficult
jobs to perform. They seek safety, but they are not infallible. They might be unaware of a participant's fitness or abilities.
They might misjudge the weather or other environmental conditions. They may give incomplete warnings or instructions, and
the equipment being used might
malfunction.
1. I
expressly agree and promise to accept and assume all of the risks existing in this activity. My participation in this activity
is purely voluntary, and I elect to participate in spite of the risks.
2. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless AATCC,
DGRC, & ASSOC from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which are in any way connected with my participation
in this activity or my use of «abbreviation»'s equipment or facilities, including any such claims which allege negligent acts
or omissions of AATCC, DGRC, & ASSOC.
3. Should AATCC, DGRC, & ASSOC or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur attorney's
fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree
to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs.
4. I certify
that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may cause or suffer while
participating, or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury
or damage myself. I further certify that I am willing to assume the risk of any medical or physical condition I may have.
5. In
the event that I file a lawsuit against AATCC, DGRC,
& ASSOC, I agree to do so solely in the state
of Texas, and I further agree that the substantive law of Texas shall apply in that action without regard to the conflict
of law rules of that state. I agree that if any portion
of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining document shall remain in full force and effect.
By signing this document, I acknowledge that if anyone is hurt
or property is damaged during my participation in this activity, I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right
to maintain a lawsuit against «abbreviation» on the basis of any claim from which I have released them herein.
I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document.
I have read and understood it, and I agree to be bound by its terms.
